NRRDA Recruitment for 20 Directors Vacancies 2016

Ministry of Rural Development (Government of India) National Rural Roads Development Agencyhas recently released a recruitment notification to fill 20 vacancies of Joint Director, Deputy Director and Assistant Director. 

Total no of Posts: 20

Name of Posts, Educational Qualification & Age limit: 

• Joint Director
• Technical: 01 Post
• Degree in civil Engineering from a recognized Institution / University. Persons holding a post Graduate Degree or above in Highways Engineering / Transportation Engineering or Civil Engineering with specialization in the related areas of Civil Engineering works in road construction will be preferred.
• The officer to be considered should be preferably in the age group of 35 to 45 years but not exceeding 57 years.
• Projects: 04 Posts
• Degree in civil Engineering from a recognized Institution / University. Persons holding a post Graduate Degree or above in Highways Engineering / Transportation Engineering or Civil Engineering with specialization in the related areas of Civil Engineering works in road construction will be preferred.
• The officer to be considered should be preferably in the age group of 35 to 45 years but not exceeding 57 years.
• Deputy Director 
• F&A: 02 Posts
• The officer to be considered to hold analogous post or at the level of Assistant Director/ Under Secretary with 4-5 years experience in Government Ministry/ Department or equivalent.
• Preferably around 40 to 45 years of age but not above 55 years of age. 
• Project-III: 02 Posts
• A degree in Civil Engineering preferably a Post Graduate with a minimum of 5 years experience in Civil Engineering works related to the field of activity in road construction. Conversant with Project Appraisals, Monitoring and evaluation of projects, technical specification etc. in road construction
• Around 35 to 45 years but not above 55 years
• Assistant Director / Finance Officer (F&A): 01 Post
• Must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University
• Should have rendered five years of regular service in the Grade Pay of Rs.5,400 OR
• Should have rendered six years of combined regular service in the Grade pay of Rs.5,400 and Rs.4,800 OR
• Should have rendered eight years of regular service in the Grade Pay of Rs.4,800
• Note: Financial up gradation in the Grade Pay of Rs,5,400 Rs.4,800 under ACP/MACP is not to be reckoned)
• Should not be above the age of 56 years
• Assistant Director (Projects / Technical): 10 Posts
• The officers to be considered should hold analogous post or at the level of Assistant Executive Engineer for at least 3 years and have experience in Planning, Construction, Quality Control and Maintenance of Roads/Highways and
• The Officer to be considered should be preferably around 35-45 years but in any case not above 57 years of age.
