Educational qualification: Possess a bachelor’s degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; and completed the divisional officer’s course or the general fire prevention course at the national fire service college or holding associate membership of the college.

Age limit: Not more than 45 years. 

Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 (Grade pay- Rs. 8700) (For Director) & Rs. 15600-39100 (Grade pay- Rs. 5400) (For Assistant Director)

Selection process: Final selection will be based on written examination & Interview.
